UNC STEVENS CENTER
The University of North Carolina School of the Arts Stevens Center had new curtains, lighting, and rigging installed by Strategic Connections.
Originally a movie theatre for silent movies, the Stevens Center was fully restored and re-opened in 1983 in Winston-Salem NC. The Winston-Salem Symphony, Opera Theatre, Piedmont Opera Theatre, and the North Carolina School of the Arts all use this facility for their performances.
The Stevens Center can be accessed by wheelchair and features a hearing assistance system. This 1,364 person capacity facility has amazing acoustics which are only enhanced by Strategic Systems’ sound design and lighting.
Duke Energy’s headquarters in Charlotte have Strategic Connections’ programmable LEDs running down the edges of the building. Standing 48 stories tall with 1.34 million sq-ft of space, this Platinum-level LEED certified building is an easily recognizable and unique addition to the Charlotte skyline.

CITY PLAZA LIGHTING, DOWNTOWN RALEIGH
Strategic Connections installed and programmed the lighting for the water founding and towers on Fayetteville Street.
The light towers are 50 feet tall and produce different light levels for various occasions in City Plaza. The tower design integrates LED lights, stainless steel oak leaves and a hidden area at the base of the towers that contain electrical panels to be used for various plaza events. The towers also offer a granite bumper seat to accommodate visitors to the plaza in need of a break.
